About the role#
This is a paid, part-time summer internship for students interested in gaining professional experience within the financial services industry. You will work on-site in Bowling Green, Kentucky, during the summer of 2027. The program offers exposure to senior leadership and hands-on training in wealth management and financial planning.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and assist Financial Advisors with document preparation and client performance reports.
- Participate in client presentations.
- Research stocks, bonds, and other securities using tools like Bloomberg, YCharts, HiddenLevers, and Riskalyze.
- Use CRM and financial planning software, including the opportunity to earn an e-Money Certification.
- Assist with portfolio maintenance, optimization, rebalancing, and backtesting.
- Present in Investment Committee and portfolio subcommittee meetings.
- Conduct independent research and build financial planning spreadsheets.
- Collaborate with a team in a virtual environment to complete a financial planning project.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
- A major in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Financial Planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Active participation in campus organizations, with preference for leadership roles or prior professional experience.
