About the role#
Cerity Partners is seeking a Wealth Management Intern for our Cincinnati office for the summer of 2027. This paid, full-time internship offers undergraduate students direct exposure to the financial industry within a registered investment advisory firm. You will work alongside our team to gain hands-on experience in wealth management and financial planning.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and participate in client presentations.
- Assist Financial Advisors with the preparation of performance reports and financial documents.
- Support the full financial planning process, including discovery, data gathering, plan development, and ongoing reviews.
- Use CRM and financial planning software systems.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of discretionary investment portfolios.
- Learn and apply income tax planning strategies.
- Conduct independent research and build spreadsheets for financial planning opportunities.
- Collaborate with a virtual team on a financial planning project.
- Pursue e-Money Certification.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited university.
- A minimum 3.2 GPA.
- A major in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Active participation in campus organizations, ideally in a leadership role, or previous professional work experience.
