About the role#
Cerity Partners is hiring for a Summer 2027 Wealth Management Internship in Denver. This is a paid, part-time program requiring 30 to 40 hours per week in a hybrid format. You will gain direct exposure to senior leadership and hands-on training in wealth management and financial planning.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and assist financial advisors with client presentations, financial documents, and performance reports.
- Support the full financial planning process, including data gathering, plan development, and ongoing reviews.
- Assist with the design and maintenance of discretionary investment portfolios.
- Learn and apply income tax planning strategies.
- Utilize CRM and financial planning software systems.
- Conduct independent research and build spreadsheets to support financial planning opportunities.
- Complete a financial planning project alongside your team.
- Pursue eMoney Certification.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited university.
- A minimum 3.2 GPA.
- A major in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Financial Planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience through professional work or active participation in campus organizations, ideally in a leadership role.
