About the role#
This internship provides exposure to investment management, portfolio analytics, and trading floor risk management within the Overlay Solutions group at Parametric. You will work on real projects that support business objectives, participate in professional development events, and complete a capstone project for business leaders. The program runs for 10 weeks from June 1, 2027, to August 10, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the Portfolio Management team with investment research and client projects.
- Maintain and develop proprietary databases and analytical tools.
- Prepare investment management proposals and client performance summaries.
- Perform account audits to ensure the accuracy of internal systems.
- Identify ways to automate routine processes using AI and other technologies.
- Develop data exports and reports to improve team efficiency.
- Assist with trading floor risk management and portfolio oversight projects.
What you'll need#
- You are a junior or rising senior pursuing a Bachelors degree in finance, economics, mathematics, business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with technology and an interest in using AI, data, and automation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- A strong interest in investment management and financial markets.
