About the role#
This is a paid 10-week summer internship program running from May 27, 2027, to August 6, 2027. You will work within the Corporate Tax department, gaining exposure to the daily operations of a global financial services company. This role is designed for current juniors graduating in May 2028 who are interested in exploring multiple areas of Finance and Risk. Interns may be considered for the Finance Leadership Development Program upon successful completion of the internship.
What you'll do#
- Support the preparation and analysis of tax reports, workpapers, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Participate in process enhancement efforts and ad hoc projects.
- Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, and our suite of product and service offerings.
- Work with and learn from supportive leaders, mentors, and team members.
- Build a professional network and engage with other interns across the business.
- Think broadly and ask questions about data, facts, and other information.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in finance and accounting principles.
- Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities.
- A self-starter mindset and a willingness to learn about different functions and career paths.
- You must be a current junior with a graduation date of May 2028.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour.
