About the role#
This 10-week summer internship offers a firsthand look at the Corporate Development team at Guardian. You will work on a project team alongside senior leaders to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic transactions. This includes M&A, venture investments, and enterprise partnerships. You will help solve complex problems and contribute to the long-range planning for the organization.
What you'll do#
- Support the evaluation of acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships through market research, financial analysis, and due diligence.
- Assist in preparing presentations and investment materials for senior business leaders and governance forums.
- Analyze industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to inform growth strategy.
- Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, and product offerings.
- Build a professional network and engage with colleagues across the business.
- Work with and learn from supportive leaders and mentors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a first-year MBA student, graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
- 4+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate development.
- Strong capabilities in financial modeling, valuation, transaction execution, and strategic analysis.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
