About the role#
This summer internship offers hands-on exposure to the Internal Audit division within a global financial services firm. You will work alongside audit professionals to evaluate business processes, assess internal controls, and provide insights that strengthen governance. This 10-week program is designed to build practical business skills and provide a foundation for a career in finance.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to meaningful Internal Audit projects.
- Participate in audit planning, fieldwork, risk assessment, and control evaluation.
- Execute audit testing and document results.
- Communicate findings and support business improvement recommendations.
- Follow up on corrective actions and support the delivery of audit services.
- Partner with other interns on a capstone project and present recommendations to senior leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current college junior status, entering your senior year in Fall 2027.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.3.
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and accountability through academic, work, or volunteer experiences.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail, sound judgment, and a questioning mindset.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including formulas, charts, and pivot tables.
