About the role#
The Global Controllers Financial Analyst Internship is a 10-week summer program based in Boston. As an intern, you will join the Business Line Controllers team to gain insight into how the firm measures performance and plans for growth. This role involves working directly with experienced professionals on real financial reporting, forecasting, and data analysis tasks. You will also collaborate with other interns on a capstone project to present recommendations to senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Perform management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial allocations.
- Produce recurring reporting and benchmarking.
- Build data views in Excel and Qlik.
- Translate findings into clear, persuasive PowerPoint presentations.
- Perform journal entries and account balancing.
- Protect data integrity and streamline accounting operations.
- Partner with fellow interns on a capstone project and present recommendations to senior leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior in college, entering senior year in the Fall of 2027.
- Background in accounting, finance, or economics.
- Strong academic achievement with a GPA of 3.3 or higher.
- Demonstrated leadership through academic and extracurricular involvement.
- Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Prior coding experience in RStudio is preferred.
