About the role#
This 10-week summer internship provides hands-on experience within the corporate functions of a global alternative investment firm. You will work within teams such as Communications, Compliance, Finance, Operations, Strategic Implementation, Strategy, Regulatory Reporting, Treasury, Human Capital, or Legal. Interns receive mentorship from experienced professionals and gain exposure to the hedge fund industry.
What you'll do#
- Support team-specific functions in areas including communications, compliance, finance, operations, strategic implementation, regulatory reporting, treasury, human capital, or legal.
- Work alongside fellow interns and participate in designated intern programming and social events.
- Engage with senior leaders to discuss their expertise and career paths.
- Develop technical, writing, and presentation skills through daily tasks and projects.
- Participate in mentorship opportunities with experienced professionals.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree.
- Interest in the asset management industry.
- Strong analytical, writing, verbal communication, and technical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the team.
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards and professionalism in all interactions.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in New York, New York, or Stamford, Connecticut.
