About the role#
This internship is for students and researchers interested in advanced data modeling and statistical learning. You will apply these techniques to market prediction and systematic trading within the Quant Management department.
What you'll do#
- Pre-process large data sets for model estimation and event studies, including validation, cleaning, normalization, and dimension reduction.
- Identify features and relationships that help predict market dynamics.
What you'll need#
- You are currently an MS or PhD candidate in finance, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a similar quantitative field.
- Proficiency in at least one of these languages: C++, Java, C#, MATLAB, R, Python, or Perl.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- An interest in financial markets and systematic trading.
- A detail-oriented approach and the ability to communicate clearly.
- Willingness to take ownership of your work, whether working independently or in a small team.
