About the role#
This is a full-time, paid summer internship for the summer of 2027. You will work on-site in our Charlotte office. The program is designed to immerse you in our business and culture while providing hands-on experience with real projects. You will work alongside industry leaders and partners, receiving feedback and professional development throughout the 10-week program.
What you'll do#
- Support the day-to-day activities of a dedicated client base.
- Ensure client needs are met and services are delivered effectively.
- Assist with new client onboarding, account opening, and account reviews.
- Prepare materials for client meetings.
- Gain exposure to the implementation and execution of core portfolio activities.
- Troubleshoot client account issues, including portfolio reporting and activity.
- Handle client data requests.
- Learn about multiple disciplines within our integrated business model, including private equity, lending, corporate advisory, and family business.
What you'll need#
- You are a current junior in college, entering your senior year in the fall of 2027.
- You have a background in and passion for finance, business, or investing.
- A GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Demonstrated leadership skills through academic or extracurricular activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A solid understanding of the asset management industry and security markets, specifically equities and fixed income.
- The ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Sound judgment and the ability to identify, escalate, and resolve problems.
- The ability to prioritize competing demands.
- A demonstrated passion for teamwork.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including multi-sheet analysis and advanced formulas.
