About the role#
Join the Internal Audit division for a 10-week summer internship. This program offers hands-on exposure to audit planning, fieldwork, risk assessment, and control evaluation within a professional financial services environment. You will work alongside audit professionals and business stakeholders to understand business objectives, identify key risks, and evaluate control effectiveness.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to internal audit projects, including risk assessment, internal controls evaluation, audit testing, and documentation.
- Assess risks and controls and execute audit testing.
- Document audit results and communicate findings.
- Support business improvement recommendations and follow up on corrective actions.
- Gain understanding of the full audit lifecycle, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and issue follow-up.
- Develop familiarity with SOX, COSO, and regulatory expectations.
- Participate in discussions with business partners and senior leaders.
- Partner with other interns on a capstone project and present recommendations to senior leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current college junior entering senior year in Fall 2027.
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- GPA of 3.3 or higher.
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and accountability.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a questioning mindset.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interest in audit, finance, business, or risk management.
