About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship program running from May 27, 2027, to August 6, 2027. You will join the Internal Audit team to gain real-world experience in a global financial services company. This role offers exposure to business challenges, interaction with senior leaders, and the opportunity to build a professional network. Successful interns may be considered for the Finance Leadership Development Program.
What you'll do#
- Support audit project work and collaborate with experienced professionals.
- Assist in department-wide initiatives, including process improvement and transformation projects.
- Perform testing to support external audit controls over financial statements or model audit rules.
- Work with mentors and team members to learn about Guardian’s products, services, and values.
- Analyze data and ask questions to connect risk, controls, and business processes.
What you'll need#
- You are a current junior with a graduation date of May 2028.
- You have coursework in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
- You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- You are intellectually curious and interested in exploring multiple areas of Finance and Risk.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

- This position is based on-site in New York, NY.
- Housing is not provided.
- You must be available for the full duration of the program dates.
