About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Indianapolis. You will join the team for 40 hours per week from June through August. This role is on-site at our office.
What you'll do#
- Prepare materials for client presentations, including net worth statements, cash flow reports, budgets, and projections.
- Review, summarize, and analyze financial information related to retirement planning, risk management, taxes, and estate plans.
- Assist in creating customized financial planning templates for meetings.
- Research financial planning topics and manage documents within our system.
- Contribute to firm projects and departmental initiatives.
- Represent Corient to clients, outside professionals, and the public.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration. We prefer rising juniors or seniors, though rising sophomores are welcome to apply.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- A basic understanding of financial planning, investment concepts, insurance, estate planning, and tax principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- An extraordinary client service attitude and a team-player mindset.
- You must be 18 years of age or older and maintain strict confidentiality regarding client and firm matters.
- You must uphold high standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.
Location & details#
- Location: Indianapolis, Indiana.
- Work Modality: This position requires you to work on-site 4 days per week.
- Physical Requirements: You must be able to work in an office environment, which includes sitting at a desk and working on a computer. You may be required to lift up to 15 pounds.
