About the role#
Corient is hiring a Wealth Management Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Newport Beach, California. You will work 40 hours per week from June through August 2027. This role is paid at a rate of $38.45 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Prepare materials for client presentations, including financial independence and education projections.
- Review, summarize, and analyze information regarding a client's financial life, such as risk management, retirement planning, and tax matters.
- Assist in creating customized financial planning templates for client meetings.
- Research financial planning topics as needed.
- Manage client and firm documents within the document management system.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Basic understanding of financial planning and investment concepts.
- Familiarity with insurance, estate planning, and tax principles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
