Portfolio Implementation Intern

About the role#

Corient is seeking a Portfolio Implementation Intern for the summer of 2027. This full-time, paid internship provides exposure to both traditional and alternative investment teams. You will work within our Portfolio Management Team to help drive the adoption of the centralized Corient Investment Platform and build your investment acumen through hands-on experience.

What you'll do#

• Support the Portfolio Management Team in driving adoption of the centralized Corient Investment Platform.
• Gain exposure to all facets of the traditional and alternative investment teams and their solutions.
• Assist with running data analytics on various investment strategies.
• Create marketing materials related to client and advisor education regarding the investment platform.
• Analyze client portfolios and assist in running transition plans.

What you'll need#

• Must be a rising senior by the summer of 2027.
• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to finance, economics, mathematics, or business administration.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Location & details#

• Locations: Dallas, Texas or Chicago, Illinois.
• Term: Summer 2027 (June through August).
• Work Modality: This position is on-site 4 days per week.
• Compensation: $37.50 per hour.
• Eligibility: Applicants must be 18 years or older with unrestricted work authorization in the United States. Corient does not provide sponsorship for this role.
