About the role#
This summer internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in senior lending and underwriting within the financial services sector. You will work with the Churchill team, an investment-specialist affiliate of Nuveen, focusing on middle market private equity financing solutions.
What you'll do#
- Research, extract, and analyze data to solve problems and form investment recommendations.
- Use industry research tools to capture and synthesize market knowledge.
- Analyze historical financials, profit margins, risks, and mitigants.
- Support the development of cash and downside forecasts.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior expected to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computational Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative curriculum.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on maintaining data consistency.
- Superior skills in Excel and financial modeling.
- Ability to actively listen and communicate effectively in writing.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence others.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship at $30.00 per hour.
