About the role#
Bessemer Venture Partners offers a 10-week summer program for undergraduate students. This internship provides exposure to the venture capital process through an apprenticeship model. You will work alongside partners and investment professionals to gain experience in investment judgment and startup identification. Analysts are expected to be active members of the team, participating in weekly partnership meetings and collaborating with founders.
What you'll do#
- Source new companies and interact with over 100 CEOs to identify startups from seed-stage to Series C.
- Conduct deep research and due diligence on investment opportunities.
- Help develop new investment roadmaps.
- Work with team members to support portfolio companies.
- Build an understanding of business models and grow your network of entrepreneurs and venture capital colleagues.
What you'll need#
- You must be an undergraduate student expecting to graduate between the spring and summer of 2028.
- Exceptional academic performance is required.
- A deep curiosity about technology, societal trends, and entrepreneurship.
- Unrelenting determination and demonstrated leadership on or off campus.
- Highly effective communication and persuasion skills.
- Reasonable fluency in fundamental business concepts like accounting and investing.
- We accept students from all majors, including Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration, International Relations, English, and Philosophy.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, New York.
- The program runs for 10 weeks from June 2027 to August 2027.
- Compensation is $2,200 per week, paid bi-weekly.
- A $5,000 relocation and housing bonus is provided to assist with costs in New York City.
