About the role#
As an Infrastructure Services Intern, you will work with the Real Estate Operations team to support the maintenance and operation of properties in the Los Angeles area. You will gain hands-on experience by assisting with building performance, utility management, and energy conservation projects. This is a full-time, six-month commitment running from January 2027 through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support Operations Managers and Facility Engineers with daily tasks and project execution.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of facility projects.
- Perform field data collection and testing.
- Develop technical solutions for MEP systems.
- Collaborate with technicians, managers, sub-contractors, and crafts personnel.
- Assess conditions and prepare single-line drawings for electrical and HVAC systems.
- Help build databases for CMMS programs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD to read schematic and construction drawings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Leadership, technical, and interpersonal abilities.
- You must be at least 18 years of age and possess unrestricted work authorization.
- You must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program.
- Preferred experience includes facility management, electrical or HVAC system design, and knowledge of data centers or streaming operations.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Burbank, California.
- The position is on-site and requires full-time availability of approximately 40 hours per week.
- You are responsible for providing your own housing and reliable transportation.
- The pay rate for this role is $31.00 per hour.
