About the role#
As an Infrastructure Engineering Intern within the Real Estate Operations team, you will help maintain and improve properties in the Los Angeles area. You will gain hands-on experience by working alongside teams focused on HVAC, electrical, and facility maintenance. This role involves supporting building performance and energy management projects designed for long-term sustainability.
What you'll do#
- Support Operations Managers and Facility Engineers with daily tasks and project execution.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of infrastructure projects.
- Conduct field data collection and testing.
- Evaluate and develop technical solutions for MEP systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, managers, sub-contractors, and crafts personnel.
- Perform condition assessments and prepare single-line diagrams for electrical and HVAC systems.
- Help build and maintain databases for CMMS programs.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior standing at an accredited college or university.
- Coursework in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to read schematic and construction drawings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Leadership, technical, and interpersonal abilities.
- Unrestricted work authorization and at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience in facility management or electrical/HVAC design is preferred.
- Familiarity with data centers and streaming operations is a plus.

- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site internship.
- Compensation: $31.00 per hour.
