About the role#
This internship provides experience in the production of the nationally syndicated daytime talk show, LIVE! with Kelly and Mark. You will work on both the studio floor and in the production office to learn how a daily live broadcast comes together. This is a part-time position requiring 24 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Manage the studio audience during tapings.
- Distribute raffle tickets and giveaway prizes.
- Prepare green rooms for guests.
- Coordinate paperwork with celebrity guests.
- Conduct research for lifestyle segments and gather information for interviews.
- Log show notes and run production-related errands.
- Manage the intern email account.
- Assist with various projects as they arise.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student in your junior or senior year.
- Coursework or a major in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, Film and Television, Screenwriting, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in a career in television production or the entertainment industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and complete tasks independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with unrestricted work authorization.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 4, 2027 to June 4, 2027).
- Schedule: Monday through Wednesday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $22.50 per hour.
