About the role#
This internship supports the Facilities team at the Disney Central Reservation Center in Orlando, Florida. You will coordinate and execute strategies to keep the location show ready for Cast and leaders. This role involves planning and executing small to medium-scale projects, maintaining the building, and assisting other areas as needed. This is a full-time, six-month commitment running from January 2027 through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and complete daily facility operational requirements for the 96,000-square-foot facility.
- Act as a project assistant for small to medium-sized projects, guiding internal and external partners to ensure work meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with all levels of Cast, including Executive, Senior Leaders, and hourly staff.
- Troubleshoot and solve infrastructure problems with workstations and offices.
- Complete daily tasks while meeting Safety and Show Quality standards.
- Identify areas for improvement, propose solutions, and research technical products or providers.
- Complete all required company training.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, with a preference for Junior or Senior status.
- Coursework or a major in Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Valid US driver’s license and an excellent driving record.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to use sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Positive demeanor and the ability to be flexible.
- Physical ability to lift boxes up to 45 lbs, climb a ladder, and bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and twist.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with unrestricted work authorization.
