About the role#
This internship supports the Operations team within the M&A department. You will help execute marketing initiatives for our label partners, including content creation, creator partnerships, and paid advertising. The role focuses on providing operational support to maintain workflows and coordinate with internal and external teams.
What you'll do#
- Assist with creator, influencer, and curator outreach, including rate negotiation and payment administration.
- Support content ideation and creation for marketing campaigns.
- Edit short-form and long-form social media content using CapCut and Adobe Premiere.
- Monitor social media trends, trending audios, and digital content shifts.
- Develop marketing proposals and campaign presentations for M&A label clients.
- Coordinate marketing ideas with record label and partner teams.
- Use internal and third-party tools to track campaign performance.
- Manage and organize digital files and assets.
- Document notes and action items during internal and external meetings.
- Assist with the setup, optimization, and reporting of paid advertising.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor degree or current enrollment in a field like Marketing, Music Business, or Communications.
- Prior internship or work experience at a music, entertainment, or marketing company.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Sheets, Docs, and Drive.
- Experience editing content for social platforms using tools like CapCut, Canva, or Photoshop.
- A strong understanding of social media platforms, digital culture, and current trends.
- Familiarity with house, dance, and electronic music genres and culture.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, part-time internship.
- The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week at our Los Angeles headquarters.
- You must be available for 10-23 hours per week over a 3-4 month period.
- Terms are available for Fall 2026 and Summer 2027.
