About the role#
TripleThreat, a division of Create Music Group, is seeking an intern to support artist discovery and gain hands-on experience in A&R, marketing, and digital rights. This part-time role is designed for current students interested in the inner workings of a modern music company.
What you'll do#
- Research and discover new artists and creators using software and personal research methods.
- Gather data and pitch potential signings to the A&R team.
- Assist with marketing and digital rights tasks for the current roster.
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Passion for hip hop music, culture, and content.
- Strong knowledge of internet culture and social media platforms, including YouTube and TikTok.
- Motivation to pursue a career in the music or entertainment industry.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Proficiency in Mac OSX, Microsoft Office, and Google Apps.
- Access to a laptop, headphones, and reliable transportation.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Term: Summer 2026 or Fall 2026 (3-4 months).
- Modality: Hybrid (must be able to report to the Los Angeles office 2-3 times per week).
- Commitment: Part-time (10-20 hours per week).
- Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
