About the role#
This internship supports the TripleThreat division of Create Music Group. It offers exposure to A&R, marketing, and digital rights, providing insight into the operations of a modern music company. This is a part-time position designed for current students available for 10 to 20 hours per week over a 3 to 4 month period.
What you'll do#
- Conduct A&R research by discovering new artists and creators through software tools and personal research.
- Gather data and pitch potential signings to the A&R team.
- Assist with various marketing and digital rights tasks for the roster.
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Passion for hip hop music, culture, and content.
- Strong knowledge of internet culture and social media platforms, including YouTube and TikTok.
- Motivation to pursue a career in the music or entertainment industry.
- Proficiency with Mac OSX, Microsoft Office, and Google Apps.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Access to a laptop, headphones, and reliable transportation.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Media Studies, Communications, Business Administration, Psychology, or Sociology.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, California. Interns must be able to report to the office 2 to 3 times per week.
- The internship is available for the Summer 2026 and Fall 2026 terms.
- This is a paid position.
