About the role#
The Building Operations Intern assists with the daily functions of the Enterprise Center. This role focuses on facility maintenance and event preparation to support St. Louis Blues games and other events.
What you'll do#
- Record information during St. Louis Blues games.
- Coordinate event needs with back of the house staff.
- Use two-way radios to communicate with the operations team.
- Create and track building maintenance work orders.
- Manage building changeovers between hockey games and concerts.
- Check the facility for cleanliness after events.
- Place giveaway items at entrances.
- Verify that safety equipment like rails and stairs are secure after changeovers.
- Assist production managers during events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in college courses, preferably with junior standing or higher.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, to align with event calendars.
- Professionalism when interacting with staff and VIPs.
- Majors in Business Administration or Operations Management are relevant to this role.

- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
About Enterprise Center
Enterprise Center is a sports and entertainment arena located in downtown St. Louis. It opened in 1994 as a 12-story glass and concrete structure. The facility serves as the home ice for the St. Louis Blues Hockey Club. It hosts approximately 175 events each year, including concerts and various sporting competitions.
