About the role#
This internship provides practical experience within the Technical Operations team at FOX News Media. You will participate in real-world projects and gain insight into the operations that support our news broadcasts. This program is designed for students interested in the technical side of media production.
What you'll do#
- Assist with Control Room and Studio Operations.
- Gain exposure to transmission, lighting, and editing workflows.
- Work with prompter systems and associated software.
- Help with studio setup and other studio-based tasks.
- Participate in professional development sessions and networking events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university as a sophomore or above.
- Pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree with a strong academic record.
- Ability to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
- Knowledge of current events and national news.
- Familiarity with FOX programming and talent.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a team environment.
- Proficiency with relevant software systems.

- Modality: This is an on-site internship.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
- Requirements: You must provide your own housing and transportation. Proof of enrollment is required for accepted students.
