About the role#
The Doe Run Company is hiring an Accounting Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This paid, full-time position is based on-site at our office in Viburnum, Missouri. You will gain hands-on experience while supporting our accounting department with projects and operational tasks.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project management, data analysis, and research.
- Work with team members to learn about our departments and operations.
- Perform field work to understand our business processes.
- Follow EHS policies and procedures to ensure all tasks are safe and environmentally compliant.
- Report any unsafe conditions, incidents, or deviations.
- Provide feedback to help improve our EHS performance.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.
- Completion of at least 24 hours of college coursework is preferred.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.2.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid driver's license.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
- The ability to apply what you learn in school to real operational needs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- This internship is located in Viburnum, Missouri.
- The role is on-site and full-time for the Summer 2027 term.
- Compensation is $21.50 per hour.
