About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship based in Phoenix, Arizona. You will support our accounting and finance teams through a hybrid work model. The position runs from May through August 2027. Please note that this role does not offer immigration work visa sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Perform accounting and financial activities on various accounts and funds.
- Assemble interrelated financial statements and monitor monthly reports of revenues and expenditures.
- Review and verify the recording of expenditures, general ledger entries, and bank statement reconciliations.
- Assist operations personnel and cost coordinators with financial analysis and reporting.
- Analyze financial operations to recommend policy or procedural enhancements.
- Help review and recommend new or enhanced automated financial statements.
- Manage a substantial workload involving multiple projects and strict deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in an accredited four-year university or graduation within 12 months of the internship start date, with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work well under pressure and collaborate effectively in a team.
- Capacity to understand and follow verbal and written work and safety instructions.
- Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods, demonstrate manual dexterity, and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
Location & details#
- Location: Phoenix, AZ.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. Interns must live within a 50-mile radius of the corporate office for in-person collaboration. Relocation assistance is available for those living further away.
- Pay: The estimated range is $21.00 to $25.50 per hour, based on education and experience.
- Requirements: Candidates must pass mandatory pre-employment drug testing.
