About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in reliability engineering. You will work on projects involving field data collection and analysis while supporting our maintenance teams. This is a full-time, paid position based in Phoenix, Arizona, running during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform project work including field work and data analysis.
- Use computer programs to solve equipment reliability problems.
- Assist with the technical evaluation of equipment and materials.
- Help coordinate mechanical, electrical, and other departments to develop scopes of work for preventive maintenance.
- Evaluate current systems and processes to implement efficiency improvements.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and assist with information packets.
- Join equipment maintenance crews as needed.
- Promote positive employee relations and teamwork.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in a bachelor's or higher degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Recent graduates who earned their degree within 12 months of the internship start date are also eligible.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while multitasking.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to understand and apply safety standards and work instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks like standing or sitting for extended periods.
