About the role#
The Sales and Management Intern position focuses on delivering an enjoyable shopping experience for our guests. You will work closely with the Store Manager to understand retail business operations and develop management skills through hands-on practice. This role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pueblo, Colorado.
What you'll do#
- Complete the Teammate Orientation, Beginning Leadership, and Recruiting, Interviewing and Hiring sections of the Buckle Management Manual.
- Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, educating teammates, and tracking your results.
- Perform sales, merchandising, and operational tasks including cashiering, register procedures, and merchandise display.
- Provide weekly progress reports and updates to the Area Manager and District Manager.
- Develop your recruiting, merchandising, and leadership skills through daily practice.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management.
- You have an interest in a long-term commitment with Buckle.
- You possess the physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom.

- Location: Pueblo, Colorado.
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time internship.
- Compensation: $15.16 to $17.00 per hour, including base rate plus commission.
