About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will focus on resident retention and leasing apartment homes. You will work as part of a team to maintain occupancy levels while delivering customer service to residents and prospective clients. This is a part-time, on-site, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Perform administrative front desk tasks and duties.
- Warmly greet prospective clients and answer incoming leasing calls.
- Professionally present the community and apartment homes to potential residents.
- Maintain accurate lease file documentation in accordance with company policy.
- Participate in and assist with planning community events.
- Complete lease applications and related paperwork.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path.
- Assist with additional projects as assigned by the Community Manager.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college or university studies.
- A minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Status as a current or future leaseholder of the community.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Real Estate, or Communications.
