About the role#
These internship and co-op positions are based at the BF Goodrich tire plant in Woodburn, Indiana. You will support daily manufacturing operations while gaining practical experience in production processes, quality standards, and safety practices. These roles are available for the Spring, Summer, or Fall 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Assist production teams with daily manufacturing tasks.
- Observe and learn how manufacturing processes and equipment operate.
- Support quality inspections and maintain documentation.
- Collect and analyze production data.
- Contribute to process improvement projects and team assignments.
- Participate in safety meetings and follow facility safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory tracking and material movement.
- Perform general administrative and operational support tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment at an accredited four-year college or university.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- An interest in manufacturing, engineering, or related fields.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- The ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
