About the role#
The Sales and Management Intern works directly with store management to learn the retail business. You will focus on guest service, visual merchandising, and operations while gaining leadership experience. This is a paid, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Perform sales, merchandising, and operational tasks including cashiering and store maintenance.
- Complete specific sections of the Buckle Management Manual covering orientation, leadership, and hiring.
- Manage a product category by setting sales goals and tracking results.
- Recruit, train, and develop teammates.
- Provide weekly progress reports to the Area and District Managers.
- Help guests find merchandise and create a positive shopping experience.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at a four-year college or university, specifically in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management.
- An interest in a long-term commitment.
- No prior experience or training is required.
- The physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs.
