About the role#
Texas AirSystems is hiring a Sales/Project Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Lubbock. This full-time, paid internship supports our sales team by coordinating equipment selection, pricing, and project timelines. You will work directly with our staff to manage project data and ensure customers receive the solutions they need.
What you'll do#
- Create and maintain job files for the duration of each project.
- Guide projects through product selection, specifications, estimates, and proposals.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, MEP consultants, and contractors.
- Organize project data for order entry.
- Respond to and track submittal requests.
- Read and interpret building plans and specifications.
- Build relationships with customers and manufacturers.
- Investigate project concerns and implement corrective actions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, estimating, construction management, or the contracting environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work in an office setting and frequently visit field locations.
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
