About the role#
Texas AirSystems is hiring a Sales/Project Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work directly with Account Managers and Sales Leaders to coordinate submittals, equipment selection, and project pricing. This role requires clear communication with our sales team, customers, and manufacturers to ensure projects stay on track.
What you'll do#
- Create and maintain job files for each project from start to finish.
- Manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Read, interpret, and understand building plans and specifications.
- Organize project data for order entry.
- Optimize projects through product selection, estimates, proposals, and redesigns.
- Communicate project requirements to owners, architects, and contractors.
- Respond to and track submittal requests.
- Investigate concerns and implement solutions to maintain customer satisfaction.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, estimating, engineering, or construction management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work in an office environment and frequently in the field.
- Capacity to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
