About the role#
HD Supply is looking for a Graduate Intern to join our Artificial Intelligence and Data Science team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside experienced data scientists and business leaders to apply advanced analytical techniques to real-world business challenges. This role focuses on using machine learning, predictive analytics, and AI to improve operations and decision-making across the company.
What you'll do#
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends and business insights.
- Support the development, testing, and refinement of machine learning and AI models.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate challenges into analytical solutions.
- Contribute to Generative AI and Agentic AI initiatives.
- Develop visualizations, dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate your findings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's degree program in a quantitative field, such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering.
- An anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Academic experience in machine learning, AI, predictive analytics, or statistical modeling.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, or other analytical programming languages.
