About the role#
We are looking for an analytical intern to join our Logistics team for the Summer 2027 term. You will support our operations by designing and building the Logistics Performance Operating System (LPOS). This is a paid, 10 to 12 week internship based in Fort Wayne. You will gain hands-on experience in data collection and optimization while receiving mentorship from business leaders.
What you'll do#
- Design and build the Logistics Performance Operating System (LPOS) to support our distribution network.
- Create reports and tools as needed by the team.
- Manipulate and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Provide training and technical support for reporting tools to distribution center operations.
- Design user interfaces to simplify data analysis for other team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program.
- Pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Operations Management.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and troubleshooting.
- Experience with data tools like Excel, SQL, Access, or Power BI is preferred.
