About the role#
HD Supply is looking for Supply Chain Interns to support analytics and operational projects across our distribution network. You will gain hands-on experience with the data, processes, and systems that keep our supply chain running. This role involves working with teams to improve inventory accuracy, transportation, and logistics performance. You will see how supply chain decisions impact business results and customer satisfaction while developing your analytical skills.
What you'll do#
- Support analytics initiatives focused on inventory, demand, logistics, and network performance.
- Use SQL to query, validate, and analyze large datasets from enterprise systems.
- Assist with data cleansing, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Build dashboards and summaries to share insights with stakeholders.
- Document findings, processes, and recommendations clearly.
- Partner with supply chain, operations, and analytics teams on improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Hands-on experience with SQL from coursework, projects, or internships.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
