About the role#
As a Merchandising and Supply Chain intern, you will gain hands-on experience by working with experienced professionals across merchandising and operations. You will support initiatives that help Orgill serve its customers and drive business performance. Your specific assignments will depend on business needs, your academic background, and your career interests.
What you'll do#
- Support merchandising and operational projects within an assigned functional area.
- Research and analyze products, categories, inventory, suppliers, market trends, and competitors.
- Gather and organize data to support business decisions.
- Create reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.
- Assist with product assortment, pricing, and category management initiatives.
- Collaborate with merchandising, operations, and supply chain teams on cross-functional projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
- Complete a project that contributes to the goals of your assigned team.
- Participate in professional development activities, lunch and learns, and intern events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Supply Chain Management, Merchandising, Business Administration, Operations Management, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Availability to commit to the full internship program from June through August 2027.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- You must be able to work on-site at our Collierville, Tennessee home office for the duration of the program.
