About the role#
The Finance Intern role provides hands-on experience by supporting financial activities, analysis, and reporting. You will work alongside finance professionals to apply your academic knowledge to real-world business operations. This position includes a project-based assignment that contributes to the goals of the Finance team.
What you'll do#
- Support financial projects and initiatives within your assigned functional area.
- Assist with financial reporting, data collection, and analysis.
- Prepare spreadsheets, presentations, and other business materials.
- Help with budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities.
- Analyze operational and financial data to find trends or areas for improvement.
- Assist with account research, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
- Support accounts payable or accounts receivable tasks.
- Maintain and organize financial records.
- Research industry practices and financial information to support projects.
- Collaborate with business partners and finance team members across the organization.
- Participate in meetings, project planning, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Identify ways to improve financial efficiency and reporting processes.
- Take part in professional development sessions, lunch and learns, and intern activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of company and financial information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university.
- A degree path in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Availability to commit to the full internship program from June through August 2027.
- Ability to work on-site at our Collierville Home Office for the duration of the program.
