About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in the wholesale grocery industry while working within our Finance and Accounting departments. You will work alongside other interns and employees to build your network, participate in professional development, and complete special projects. You will also deliver an end-of-internship presentation to showcase your learning objectives.
What you'll do#
- Support areas such as Inventory Controls, General Accounting, Gross Profits, Corporate Finance, Commercial Finance, Tax, Shared Services, and Corporate Development.
- Assist with daily operations, administrative tasks, and the preparation of reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
- Attend meetings, take notes, and contribute ideas.
- Help improve department tools, templates, and methodologies.
- Receive training on technologies including Hyperion, Excel, and Smartview.
- Work with business partners across departments like transportation, IT, and procurement.
- Develop professional relationships and participate in team-building activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting or Finance.
- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing at the time of the internship.
- Good academic standing, with a preferred minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Experience with Google’s suite of products is preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
- Must have work authorization that does not require sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Brattleboro, Vermont, and Keene, New Hampshire.
- The position follows a hybrid work schedule.
- This is a 12-week, full-time program running from May to August 2027.
