About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Keene, New Hampshire. You will gain hands-on experience in the wholesale grocery industry while working within a corporate finance environment. The role follows a hybrid work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Support functional areas including Inventory Controls, General Accounting, Gross Profits, Corporate Finance, Commercial Finance, Tax, Shared Services, and Corporate Development.
- Assist with daily operations, administrative tasks, and special projects assigned by your manager.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation to support department objectives.
- Collaborate with team members and business partners across departments like transportation, IT, procurement, and HR.
- Improve department processes, tools, and templates.
- Attend meetings, contribute ideas, and gain exposure to department functions.
- Receive training on technologies including Hyperion, Excel, and Smartview.
- Complete an end-of-internship presentation to showcase your learning objectives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing in good academic standing, preferably with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a detail-oriented approach.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to contribute.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Work authorization that does not require sponsorship.
