About the role#
As a National Project Management Office (NPMO) Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting operational projects within the wholesale grocery industry. This full-time, paid internship takes place during the summer of 2027. You will work directly with the NPMO team to analyze and improve business processes while building professional relationships across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Map, evaluate, and refine existing operational processes to increase efficiency.
- Use Microsoft Visio to create process flows and document workflows.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and department documentation.
- Assist with daily administrative tasks and department operations.
- Collaborate with team members, attend meetings, and contribute ideas.
- Work on special projects assigned by your manager.
- Network with peers, department directors, and leadership.
- Deliver a final presentation at the end of the internship to share your learning outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program, with at least your sophomore year completed by the start of the internship.
- A major in Project Management, Communications, Business, Economics, or Marketing.
- Good academic standing, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Required proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Preferred experience with Google products.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently or as part of a team.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- A curious mindset and a willingness to learn.
