About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience within the wholesale grocery industry. You will join the Business Applications team to help maintain internal tools and bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions. You will work alongside other interns and staff to complete projects, attend professional development workshops, and expand your professional network.
What you'll do#
- Support the maintenance and production of internal applications used across the organization.
- Shadow team members in business requirement meetings to learn how to translate needs into IT solutions.
- Collaborate with developer teams to explain business requirements.
- Test applications throughout various phases of the development cycle.
- Assist with daily department operations, reporting, and documentation.
- Contribute ideas during meetings and work on special projects assigned by your manager.
- Complete an end-of-internship presentation to showcase your learning objectives.
- Build professional relationships across different departments.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior standing in a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited university.
- Current major in Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Business Analytics, or Information Technology.
- A GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL is required.
- Proficiency in Python or similar applications is preferred.
- Experience with Google’s suite of products is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems and work both independently and within a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must have work authorization that does not require sponsorship.

- Term: Summer 2027 (12 weeks, May to August).
