About the role#
As a Commercial Tech/Sales Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the wholesale grocery industry. You will work with the Commercial Tech team to support systems automation and technology initiatives. This role involves collaborating with sales teams and cross-functional partners to improve data flow and enhance department tools. You will participate in professional development, work with a dedicated mentor, and complete a final presentation to showcase your learning objectives.
What you'll do#
- Support the Commercial Tech team with systems automation and evaluate data flow processes for Salesforce.
- Assist with technology initiatives such as the Meat sales app, digital sell sheets, mobile applications, and AI tools.
- Help with daily administrative tasks, reports, and presentations.
- Collaborate on process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
- Attend meetings, contribute ideas, and build professional relationships across departments.
- Manage special projects as assigned by your manager.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Completion of your Sophomore year by the start of the internship.
- Good academic standing, with a preferred minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Familiarity with Google’s suite of products is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
