About the role#
As a Demand Planning Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the wholesale grocery industry. You will work alongside employees to support daily operations, contribute to meaningful projects, and help run one of the largest privately held companies in the United States. This 12-week program includes a dedicated mentor, professional development opportunities, and team-building activities.
What you'll do#
- Collect, review, cleanse, and interpret data on customer buying habits.
- Use data to create demand forecasts and research past trends.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to implement research findings.
- Assist in daily operations, administrative tasks, and the preparation of reports or presentations.
- Enhance department tools, templates, and methodologies.
- Attend meetings, contribute ideas, and develop professional relationships across departments.
- Complete an end-of-internship presentation to showcase your learning objectives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science, or Operations Management.
- Completed your Sophomore year by the start of the internship.
- Good academic standing, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Familiarity with Google’s suite of products is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

- Term: Summer 2027 (12 weeks, May to August).
