About the role#
The Human Resources Intern will gain hands-on experience by supporting various HR functions and initiatives at Orgill. You will work alongside experienced professionals and business partners to contribute to real-world projects. This role provides a broad understanding of how HR supports employees and organizational goals, with assignments tailored to business needs and your own academic background or career interests.
What you'll do#
- Support recruiting and talent acquisition, including job postings, candidate communication, interview coordination, and recruiting events.
- Assist with onboarding and new hire initiatives to create a positive employee experience.
- Help with employee engagement projects, surveys, and events.
- Assist with HR reporting, data collection, and analysis to support business decisions.
- Support HRIS activities and maintain accurate employee records.
- Assist with benefits-related projects, research, and employee communications.
- Support the development and organization of HR policies, procedures, and resources.
- Research HR practices and employment trends.
- Create presentations, reports, and communications for HR programs.
- Collaborate with HR team members, managers, and business partners.
- Participate in meetings, professional development opportunities, and intern activities.
- Complete a meaningful project that contributes to the goals of the HR team.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program as a rising Junior or Senior.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A desire to build a professional network and gain hands-on experience.
- Ability to work on-site at our Collierville Home Office for the duration of the program.
