About the role#
As a Project Management Intern, you will support initiatives that help HD Supply deliver projects across the business. You will work alongside project managers and cross-functional teams to coordinate activities, monitor progress, and support key deliverables. This role provides exposure to project planning, stakeholder communication, and business operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers with planning, coordinating, and tracking project activities.
- Support project documentation, including meeting agendas, action items, and status updates.
- Monitor project timelines to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Conduct research and analysis to support project recommendations and business decisions.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards to summarize project metrics.
- Help identify process improvement opportunities and operational efficiencies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Economics, or Communications.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
