About the role#
The Human Resources Co-op joins the Employee Experience team to support HR Business Partners, Staffing, and Program Management. You will gain hands-on experience across the employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, talent management, and recruitment. This role involves working with HR professionals across the firm to support strategic initiatives and daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, HR processes, and internal communications.
- Support performance management and talent development through tracking, coordination, and reporting.
- Prepare presentations, dashboards, and reports for leadership discussions.
- Conduct research on HR trends and benchmarking best practices.
- Help with employee engagement, recognition programs, and culture initiatives.
- Provide customer service by answering employee inquiries.
- Assist the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment tasks, including defining interview competencies and updating marketing materials.
- Participate in sourcing and research for recruitment events and job boards.
- Identify ways to improve HR processes and the overall employee experience.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Strong interest in HR, talent management, or employee experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to service.
- Previous co-op or internship experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position based in Boston, Massachusetts.
- The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring at least 2 to 3 days in the office, including Thursdays.
