About the role#
As a Research Analyst Intern, you will join project teams to support senior consultants and experts. You will apply economic concepts in a professional services setting while improving your research and data analysis skills. This role involves working alongside experts in financial economics, corporate finance, energy, competition, and regulatory economics.
What you'll do#
- Build models and create data-based solutions for clients using tools like R, Python, Stata, SAS, Excel, and VBA.
- Conduct data, statistical, and econometric analysis.
- Build interactive dashboards to visualize information.
- Perform comprehensive research, including market analysis, literature reviews, and document examination.
- Write memos to provide insights and support expert reports.
- Assist in the preparation of expert reports and presentations for legal and regulatory contexts.
- Collaborate with senior consultants and experts to develop solutions for clients.
What you'll need#
- An undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as economics, computer science, data science, or mathematics.
- Strong academic performance with a GPA of 3.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Ability to work well in team environments and demonstrate leadership skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and a creative approach to problem-solving.
- A high degree of ownership and commitment to delivering quality work.
- Strong communication skills.
